Shared Fax, E-mail & Telnet |
|
|
I have 2 sites with SBS 2000. In both cases, the companies are using the
Shared Fax service. They each want e-mail notification to a central fax
administrator. I've been through all the KB articles concerning how this is
set up, yet the e-mail forwarding fails. In the Fax Server console, the fax
sits in the incoming box with a status of "routing failed".
In the Application Log in Event Viewer are event ID 32080 & 32088.
Attempts to Telnet port 25 on the server (from anywhere, including the local
host) fail with the message: "Could not open a connection to host on port
25". I think it may be related. |

Hi,
Well this is a known issue with Antivirus, try disabling
services for your Antivirus from services console and then
restart your server once. you can also look for related
setting in Antivirus console.
need more help...? karanrustagi@hotmail.com
