How does COMTI manages the number of connections to IMS? In our load
test, we're constantly submitting 40 transactions to IMS but we only
see one transaction is running.

In another load test, but this time we have different transaction, We
submit 40 transaction and we only see 16 on the queue and 16
connections.

Why is that, the number of transaction on queue different among the
transactions? Is there a way for us to configure this connection
settings on HIS?

COMTI does not manage the number of connections. It tries to acquire a
connection (TCP) or a session (LU62) and if successfull procedes with the
transaction. If it was unable to acquire a connection you would get a
failure reported to your client. There are many configuration items on the
host that could limit the number of transactions that IMS can process
simultaneously, check with your mainframe staff.
