Installation problems |
|

Hi,
I am busy installing MCMS Enterprise but when I start the DCA I get the
error ' Failed to create initial content Management Server Administrator
Extended error: [What='Registry key not found
(SOFTWARE\NCompass\Resolution Content
Server\Configuration\-1\Local\Database).'][LCID='1033'][SourceFile='nrmetakey.cpp'][SourceFileLine='279'][DEbugInfo="][RecommendedAction="][ExtraInfo="][UniqueErrorId='10004'][Severity='5'][Source='AEServerObject.dll'][CategoryId='0']
-2147352567 AEServerObject.dll '
When I check the registry there is no such key but there is a
...\0\Local\Database key
I already reinstalled MCMS all other software like SQL Client, J#,
IEwebcontrols, MCMS hotfix etc.. are present but to no avail.
Does anyone has an idea what might be the problem ?

Hi Ab,
you should either open a service request. The number 0 vs. -1 is the MCMS
instance.
The current version only supports one instance and the value should always
be 0.
No idea why it looks for a -1 in your situation....
Very strange.
Cheers,
Stefan.
