RE: Windows 2003 DC and more than 4GB RAM |

Hello,
Typically, a process running under Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 can
access up to 2 GB of memory address space. Based on my knowledge, by using
/3GB switch in Boot.ini, we are able to allocate 3GB RAM for user
application.
I'd like to provide you with the following articles for your reference:
283037 Large memory support is available in Windows 2000 and Windows Server
2003

Have a nice day!

Can the AD services (LSASS, etc) on a Windows 2003 DC running
enterprise edition take advantage of more than 4GB RAM? Is
it limited by the 2GB application addressing issue? Thx
