Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to request a file (e.g. an image or word
doc) via a friendly url rather than the ugly GUID ? Something like:

http://sitename.com/resourcegallery/pictures/awards.jpg

as opposed to

http://sitename.com/NR/rdonlyres/AD63BEC7-7A0C-4714-A97F-A8A4DF0921BC/0/awards.jpg

Thanks
James Penneck.

Hi James.,

MCMS does not provide such a feature.
You could implement an ISAPI filter similar to the one used by MCMS to
provide friendly urls for the channels.

Cheers,
Stefan.
