This is a CMS 2001 site.
All of a sudden receives 500 Server Error on several pages. The no of
pages giving this error is randomly increasing.
Site has been live since 3 yrs. never happened before...
Nothing useful in eventlogs as well..

I can preview the same page from Site Builder. Which is very
surprising.
I have already looked at Stefans site..

Any insights..
thanks

Hi Laks,

my site does not have much information for CMS 2001. Most stuff is for CMS
2002.
You should look at the event logs of the machine to see if you find a reason
for the 500 server error in the application event log.
Also check the system event log to see if there are any messages indicating
problems with the machine itself.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Event logs didnot have anything related. I did an IIS reset and things
were back to normal. Obviously I dont like the solution, but it helped
to solve it. Would be curious to knwo why such an error occurs all of a
sudden.
Thanks
