Adapter Issue |
|
|
HI Need help,
I have installed HIS 2000 on a server 2003.
I have 2 NIC cards and 1 Token Ring card (DLC protocol installed).
Now when I go to add Link services and add 802.2 Link service. I get
no adapter under the adapter section. I should have the token ring
adapter there. The OS recognises it BUT Host Integration Server 2000
does not.
Any clues.
Thanks |

If you look at the bindings is DLC definitely bound to the token-ring card?
If you additionally bind it (as a test) to one of the ethernet nic's does HIS
see it there?

Hello,
In order to get this problem resolved, you need to add HIS SP1, its located
on http://www.microsoft.com/hiserver/
I have seen this problem many times and it is recommended to use the
service pack for HIS when installing on a Windows 2003 Server.
Thank you,
