User Authentication to tesm site issue |
|
|
I have a isolated domain (Dom1) with a Windows 2003 server running STS and
IIS and the domain also contain a second machine (Test). I also have a
production Domain (Dom2) where all my working network resides. I have set up
a one way share between (Dom1) trusting users from (Dom2). I can log into STS
with credentials from Dom2 users on the local machine or from a XP
workstation in the local domain (Dom1) and from the same XP box outside the
domains (1or2) but I can't log in from any Windows 2000 boxes in ether domain
or just a W2K box outside of any domain using accepted credentials that
worked locally. I get an eror telling me there is an error on the page and it
cannot be displayed.
Same windows 2000 box inside or outside ether domain = error
Same XP box inside or outside domain of ethe domain = Login successful
Any Ideas ???????? |

Windows 2003 Server is not a supported environment for STS.
So it's unlikely that you will be able to get any help in this newsgroup for
this.
Most people who have access to Windows 2003 have already moved on to Windows
SharePoint Services.

Thanks Mike,
I am sorry for my miscommunication, I am running Sharepoint services and not
team services. I will try and locate the proper list and repost my question.
Thanks for your time
