Is it possible to add non domain users to a sharepoint site? I would like to
create a site where I can share documents with clients.

Thank you
Bill

I've done it with my STS 1.0 website, so I know it can be done. When you add
a user in this manner, STS creates a local account on the web server for
that user.

Roger gave you the STS answer.

This is the newsgroup for SharePoint Team Services version 1.0 (2001).

Windows SharePoint Services is at
microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices

SharePoint Portal Server 2003 is at microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver

(If you are running WSS you need to create the user on the server first
before specifying the user in WSS - but please post to that newsgroup if you
are using WSS).
