I have created some sub web sites and added links to the home page of each
site to make it easy for users to jump back and forth between sites. Some
users with Contributor privileges are having problems seeing these links on
the web site home page.

Is there any restriction with regard to access privileges that is preventing
these users from seeing the links? Is this related in any way to IE settings?

Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.

I had issues once with a navigation tool from the resource kit.

If this is just a links web part, you shouldn't be having the problem.

However, are any of the links going to site that have unique permissions?

Maybe the person cannot get to that site because they have no access on that
sub-site.

It can't be a links *web part* because this is the newsgroup for SharePoint
Team Services (STS) which doesn't have web parts.

Also the original poster used the term "sub webs" which is only used in STS
for what in WSS is a "subsite".

---------------------

I suspect that possibly these links were added in FP. Whereas you can add
links in FP with WSS, with STS, links added in FP are only visible in FP -
you need to add them to the *code* (for which you could use FP but the code
part not the design part).
