If you really are running SharePoint Team Services on a Windows 2003 Server
as you say - why ?

It isn't supported on that platform and if you have a Win 2003 Server
available why aren't you running the latest version of STS i.e Windows
SharePoint Services ?

The answer to the question if indeed you are running STS is that there are
four things that need to be backed up.

1. The files that STS creates on the C: drive
2. The metadata
3. The directories containing your data
4. the database

Compare this with WSS where you need do only 1. and 4. (and usually only 4).

Sorry, in my previous message, I write incorrect version....
I have WSS, as you say!
How I can backup the whole site collection?

Thank'you very much.
