Seems like you demonstrate differences betwen reader and contributor quite
well :)
But seriously, is this corporate logo file located on the WSS server?
Have you tried putting it into a Picture Library on the same site (with
unrestricted access) and specifying the link to it there in your top-level
code?
Are there any other differences on the page that is generated for a Reader?
It does seem extremely odd that user rights change a graphic in this way.
(and no, I can't remember having read a similar message earlier)

home
page. When a user with only reader rights signs in, the banner does not
render correctly. It gets squeezed to the left of the page and some
background colors of the table it's in aren't rendering properly. On the
other hand, when the same user is given contributor privledges, it renders
properly. We've gone back and forth several times and this is the case.
How can this be happening based on a user's rights? (Or might there be
some
other reason that it is happening?)
and
How can we fix it?
HELP! we have a presentation in less than two days where we need to
demonstrate various security levels.
