I am setting up a new SBS 2003 box and I here is my first question: Is
there any advantage to using SBS as the DHCP server, or should I leave DHCP
on the Linksys router?

If use the router, you might have to configure each client individually
for the DNS IP. If you use SBS, it will pass both the DNS and the gateway.

Hi TB

See http://www.smallbizserver.net/Default.aspx?tabid=52 for ideal setup. I
highly recommend using two Nics on server.

Use the DHCP of the server... it will make your life easier. Plus Win2k/XP
clients will register themselves.

Thanks for the link... after looking at this and other support sites, I
decided to install a second NIC and use this network paradigm with the
Linksys router.
