I'm using Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003; I want to make the height
of the web part to increase or decrease dynamically according to its
contents, without generating a scroll bar, at least after appropriate length.
I didn’t include any default size for the web part while creation, it showed
me a small web part that generates a scroll bar within its small size if the
content was larger than the size of the web part.
Is it doable ? any clue ?

In the webpart properties, under appearance, make sure it is not set to a fixed

height. Also, look at the zone in which you have placed it. Make sure it is not
a fixed height zone.

A web part would generally automatically wrap to the size of the zone in
which it is placed. So you will need to increase the size of the zone. Open
the page in frontpage and change the zone sizing and then the web part would
show appropriately.

Hope this helps.
