Slow page load/refresh in Word 2003 documents |

I'm a heavy user of Word (2003), using it to create documents with multiple
images pasted (excel tables, pictures, scanned images). My documents will
typically have quite a bit of formatting to produce columns, customized
headers and footers, etc.
I have a few documents that seem to cause Word to run extremely slow (10 to
20 seconds to redraw the document). I'm not adjusting the settings between
documents. I've turned off check spellnig/grammer, I'm using Zone Labs
anti-virus and have scanned and do not appear to have a virus.
