hi, we are having hundreds of cisco 7060 phones, grandstream, xlite, ms
messanger and other SIP compliant clients in our network. we are checking out
the office live communication server 2005 right now since it sounded all very
nice. but it seems that there is only NTLS and kerberos authentication
possible. our clients are all using digest. is there any solution for that
problem? i kind of like the concept of a 2 tier architecture with LCS cluster
and SQL in the backend. but what does it help if our clients cant log in.

i would be super happy if someone can help....

I am afraid LCS2005 only supports NTLM and KERBOROS for authentication
purposes.

thanks, dhigha

BTW, you can still let connect other sip entities to LCS servers over
trusted connection..

a white paper which describes on how to connect SIP/PSTN gateway's to LCS is
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX011526591033.aspx#Live Communications
Server 2005 Deploying a SIP/PSTN Gateway
