If memory serves me correctly, msmsgsin.exe either installed or launched the
Windows messenger 4.7 executable, msmsgs.exe.

I know that you could kill both of them off to get rid of Windows Messenger.
Worked for a company that wanted to cut over from WM and Exchange to MSN IM
(MSN forced an automatic update of the client...which was incompatible with
Exchange IM), but we did not want to sneakernet and uninstall WM...so I
wrote a script to hit every workstation in the domain, kill the processes
(if they were up), and rename the files. If the files did not exist it went
to the next machine...ad nauseum.
