Certificate errors (again).... |
|
|
Hi,
I continue to have some problems with my certificates for LCS.
I'have installed LCS 2005 on a SBS 2003 server.
I have another Win 2003 server on the network.
I follow the steps of the LCS 2005 certificate configuration white paper,
but nothing works:
SBS2003 is configured with an enterprise CA, but creating a new certificate
template doesn't works (the new template does not appear in the list when I
try to add it to the Certificate Templates list), so I can't follow the
steps to use this certificate server.
My second Win 2003 is configured as a standalone CA and a key generated from
this server is not recognized as a client + sever authentication , the error
is:
LCS requires a certificate that has both Server and Client authentication
attributes as part of its Enhanced Key Usage (EKU). Please select a new one.
so, the 2 solutions describe in the white paper doesn't works!!!!!
any guide or idea?
thanks. |

well... omit this
I've reinstalled Certificate server on my SBS server as a standalone server
and all works fine.
My certificates are good and all works fine except... (see my next post) ;-)
