Exchange 2k3 |
|
|
Hi,
It seems most of my clients SBS2k3 Exchange store have started erroring in
the past 4 weeks. Prior to that they where running sweet for ages. Now it
seems they are slow responding, giving fragmented memory warnings and or
store.exe using more than normal CPU usuage. The strange thing is, this is
occuring on a server that hasn't had Exchange SP1 installed. I have applied
fixes KB843539, KB831664 to the clients servers that have SP1 installed to no
avail. I get the feeling that the store.exe problem is not directly related
to SP1. I'm interested in replies from non - SP1 users who have experienced
problems recently when all was going so well. I have about 6 clients who are
running SBS2k3 and I find it very odd that 3 of them started erroring round
about 4-5 weeks ago.

Hi Rick,
FYI: the 2003 newsgroup is microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs.
Check that the AV program is not scanning the Exchange folders. After you
have applied SP1 for Exchange, did you also apply the additional SBS hotfix?
