I am trying to install a windows 2003 backup domain controller. Before I can
do this I have to install the AD SChema snap in on our WIn2K Small Business
Server.

The instructions say insert your win2K CD, browse to the i386 directoiry and
run the adminpak.msi file.

So, I insert the cd, find the msi and run it. THe install of admin tools
begins but then part way throiugh asks me to insert the Windows 2000 setup
disk.

What the heck are they talking about? I never received a CD marked "setup"!!
I tried all three Win2K SBS CD's to no avail.

Please help. How can I install the AD schema snap in without a setup disk??

You install the 2003 cd in the 2000 server and to the forest prep and
domain prep to extend the schema.
