Pop3 Connector in Exchange no longer routing mail to users |
|
|
I have an SBS2000 Server and have had ongoing problems with the POP3
Connector retrieving the global mail but not routing it to the user
mailboxes.
The connector retrives the mail from the web site mailbox (it is empty
after a scheduled retrieve) but no mail is being routed to the user
mailboxes. In fact, I cannot find where the mail is going at all.
I am not getting any errors in the event logs or any indication that
there is a problem. I have SP3 for Exchange Server installed with the
post SP hot fixes, but nothing seems to resolve the problem.
Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea where i can get more
info on this type of problem.
TIA,

Hi Robert,
Turn up the logging on the pop3 connector, restart the pop3 connector
service and watch your eventlogs. It should tell you exactly what is
happening with the email.
