SSL and ISA 2000 on SBS 2000 |

Have a client that needs to access a website via SSL (HTTPS). The only
problem is that the vendor uses a non-standard port for SSL communication
(Port 444 vs. 443) and the clients cannot access their secure webpage. What
I need is some info or direction on how to allow this through ISA 2000
running on SBS2000. I am not sure if I need a Protocol Rule or Packet Filter
in place. Any help or ideas? Thanks. |

I plugged 'isa ssl standard port' into support.microsoft.com and came up
with:

Thanks for the reply SG. It appears this may correct the
issue, but the KB is vague on whether the VB script needs
to be run at the SBS Server or the client. Also I am not
familiar with using VB script, can I run the sample
script (modified of course) in Notepad, etc... The
clients are Win2k Pro workstations.
I ran a Google search on "ISA SSL changing port" and I
mainly came up with links to isaserver.org and such.

the script modifies ISA, it must be run on the ISA box.
