ActiveX vs. Win2k3 |
|
|
Hello,
I have 3 W2k3 Servers, 2 of them are DC-s. The first one has Exch2k3
also, and on this one when I open our intranet, everything is ok. But
on the others I receive that "Security settings prohibit running
ActiveX". I tried to add the site to Trusted sites, to enable all,
with the lowest security on this site - nothing. I would like to leave
the Enhanced Internet Settings (the first server is working with them!
), but how can I make to work the others?
Any help is appreciated.

If you absolutely trust the site add it to the trusted/intranet Web Content
Zone and the select custom settings to check if all Active X is enabled
included unsigned and not marked as safe which is what I had to do to [as
suggested by documentation] to get Web Enrollment for smart card enrollment
for others to work. Compare the settings [custom] to that of the server
where it works. Also logon as an administrator. --- Steve
