Only replicating in one direction |
|
|
Hi all,
We are having a huge issue in that replication is only happening in one
dircetion. Nothing seems to have changed, but now we can replicate quickly
in one direction, but not at all in the other direction.
Sonar shows everything to be normal, there are no events in the logs of
either server,a nd the replication schedules are correct.
They are both 2003 server.
This is causing us huge issues here, any advice would be most welcome.
TIA

Here are some things to check.
1) Verify connections in AD haven't been damaged. Verify the
connections are scheduled to be on and are enabled.
2) Verify AD replication is okay, and all your DCs are synced up.
3) Verify each machine can resolve each of its partner's fully
quallified domain name.
4) Try doing an ntfrsutl sets on each member and look at its
connection information. Verify it's the same and the partners agree.
Ultrasound can help with this to some degree.
5) Check for firewalls.
