All,

I am running Win 2k3 Server and would like this server to download any
windows updates and then have all the workstation who log on get there
windows updates from my central server - is this possible?

Sounds like you are describing Software Update Services.

ps - the link at the top of the page is for a beta/open evaluation of
windows update services (wus). this is the next version of software update
services and it is not meant for production environments.
