What is the best way to migrate profiles on a local machine after using ADMT
to migrate the machine to AD. I have ran the securitly translation wizard
and That did not seem to do the trick.

After running the above should I be able to login to new domain and
automatically pickup and use the old profile? Do I need to write a script to
copy the profiles?

security translation wizard should do this .... but in case you need to
assign an orphaned user profile to an AD account maybe this would help:
