Hi All,

I would like to assign one of my user to be able to promote and demote
Domain Controller in my domain. But I do not want this user to have domain
admin or administrator rights. Can anyone tell me the step-by-step how to do
this? Thank you.

Regards
Eng

Eng,
I don“t know if is possible to delegate this kind of task (maybe someone
from MSFT or another guy can help us). One solution would be create a vbs
script or a interface where you can perform a unnattend promotion (see
details in
http://www.petri.co.il/unattended_installation_of_active_directory.htm).
