Hi there,

I have a question with regards to creating Dfs links where one of the
replication partners already has some data that we want to replicate.
Here is the scenario:

Platform: All server run on W2K.

Server A has a share that contains some 20 GB (150K files). The share
on server B has no data. I want to create a Dfs link to replicate the
existing data from A's share to B. What are my options:

1. Do I simply create a Dfs link with two replica partner and specify
the share on server A as Primary when enabling automatic replication?

2. Do I use non-authorative restore (with Burflag set to D2)?
3. Do I use authorative restore with Burflag set to D4?

Note that the share on Server is being updated dynamically i.e. it is
possible that new files are written to the share on Server A while the
old files and folders are being replicated to Server B.

Could you help, please.

Thanks.
