We have recently installed Server 2003 running active directory and since
then have had no end of issues with users being disconnected from services
and network shares and network printers.

It has also stopped users from having write acccess to their local drives.
If anyone has any experience or would like to shed some light on these issues
all help is gratefully received.

How are the Event Logs on your clients? any thing related to the
communication issues?

Can you describe the setup? What was installed and how you got to 2003?
Can you also describe the network topology?

What you describe could have many causes, although time sounds like one
possibility. There are ways to troubleshoot such issues, but I'm guessing
there were changes after install that need to be understood before any
suggestions are made.
