I have a set of 2 nodes clustered Win2k servers working as Active a Passive
mode. Due to the re-engineering of the our Network infrastructure we are
required to change the IP and sub-net mask of the above cluster system.

Do any has any procedure which I could follow to change the IP adddress the
resources. This is a porduction system and hope that the procedure is one
time right so that there is no downtime involved. Pls direct me if you have
come accross such procedure.

Thank you for your Help.

hi!

i would change first, the local ip addresses with subnm + def-gateway on the
nodes, than the cluster ip-adress of the resources. changing ip addresses is
not a problem at all.

if you want no downtime, like mentioned: change first node ip first, than
cluster resource, than failover (short downtime during changing cluster ip
resource (you have to take it offline)), at last change second node ip last.
