Use Contacts to Email a Filtered List With One Email |
|
|
Is there a way to filter on the Contact list and generate an email to all
recipients showing?
Alternately, is there a way to generate an email to a group?
In other words, I don't want to click each contact and send individual
emails if I am sending the same content to all recipients. Thanks, Anne |

Not natively, but there's at least one cheap, commercially available Web Part
that does this. Browse:

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. For now my work around will be to Export to
Excel, apply Autofilters, filter on Company or whatever, and cut and paste
the column containing email addresses into the To: line. Thanks, again. Anne

Don't forget you can also export a contact list to Outlook, and then selct
the addresses you want from there.

Hi Jim,
I have tried it with a customized contact list that has a categories-Field
(text255) within, but this field was not exported into outlook. How can I
export a field to view my contacts in Outlook (for serial-Email-creation) by
categories?
Regards,
Alex
p.s. I have a german Version of WSPS, so I tried it with a field called
"Kategorien" and a field called "Categories", but both dont work! :-(
