Very silly question |

I'm new to clustering so please forgive my ignorance; I
have been given a task of adding new physical drive to
our cluster (running Windows 2003). Current cluster runs
of SAN disks, but what we wanted to do is install local
drives on both nodes and move certain server functions of
the SAN disks. I added local disks to each node,
identical in anyway but I'm unable to add them as
resource to the cluster (they are formatted, drive
letters are assigned..). I have a feeling that I'm
either missing something really simple or this is not
possible and I should be ashamed of my self for even
asking
Any suggestions are welcome, |

Hi Andrew,
You cannot use local disks as cluster resources. Only disks in the shared
storage can be used for cluster resources.
BTW, don't be ashamed. :-) It was a very reasonable question, especially
if you are new to clustering.
