Hi Experts,

I would like to check if I have clustering feature on the machine I'm runnig
on (even if it is not setup yet). Should I do it by checking the windows
2003 version Enterprise or Standard? Is there a better way?

Thanks a million,
Avi

Avi,

GetNodeClusterState API should get you the exact details. Please check out
the following link for more details regarding the API:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/mscs/mscs/getnodeclusterstate.asp

Hope this helps.

If you are asking how to tell if your O/S is "cluster-able" then yes -
Enterprise 2003 vs Standard is the easiest way ...

And Right-Click on My Computer and Properties will tell you fastest...

Of course, from there, you should also confirm that the hardware is on the
clustering HCL for best support...

HTH,

jason
