Hello,

is it possible to assign a cluster-IP Adress outside the IP-range of the
public IPs of the Nodes?

From the GUI, no, it checks. From a script yes, you could. Would it ever
come online, no. Can I ask what you are trying to accomplish?

Cheers,

what do u mean exactly by - "Cluster IP address outside the IP range of the
public IP's?"
Do you mean an IP not on the samae subnet?

While creating a cluster, the answer is "no".
While creating an IP address resources, the answer would be "yes".

But the hard question again, what are you trying to accomplish, you really
really need to know what you trying to do and you need to exactly know the
routing structure in your company to do such a thing :-)

If for some reason, the ip address is being attached to another NIC on the
machine, you can use the following command -
cluster res ippadr /priv OverrideAddressMatch=1

and then decide what NIC you want to bind to.

Best of luck...
