Ok guy's and girl's heres my situation.
I am helping open up a new store and we already have some POS software we want to use, now here is the thing. I want to run a windows server (2003 or 2000) and I need this to happen.
I will have one server, three desktops and a laptop. I want to install the POS software on the server and "share it" to the other computers. I know the license issues thats already bought and figured out. Now what I want to be done is there is a front end and backend part of the software. I want it so that the two desktop computers up front can logon to the windows server and the ONLY thing that will run is the front end solution, i.e when they logon to the computer a script runs and launches the program. In the back office I wish that it be able to access the back office, front end, and all of that so basiclly everything. And the laptop same as the back office desktop. That's it, hopefully someone can try and help me
If something is confusing please just reply. I am hopefully getting this done by the end of the year. I know that I will need A-D installed because of the user permissions I am just not quite sure on what else if anything i will need, and how to go about it.
