Hello new here and new to servers. I have windows xp home and simply want to host a forum like this one on my computer and have people come to my forum and be able to upload files such as, music,video and pictures to the forum that will be stored on my computers hard drive in a specific location.
Can anyone be so kind to tell me how to go about doing this? Or recommend any sites that explain this? I have been doing searching on google and yahoo but still can't really get an answer to what I am looking for. Thanks for anyone who can help.  |

you can use windows IIS, withc will alow you to run a server at home, but most easy thing subscribing to a we server, that way you dont have to maintain server,  |
