We are trying to install ACT2006 on a SBS2003 server. Act has to install before any SQL instance - issue with Microsoft.
IF I go to services I see the following SQL services listed:
MSSQL$BKEXECUP - Veritas Backup
MSSQL$SBSMONIT - Microsoft Monitoring
MSSQL$SHAREPOINT - Microsoft Sharepoint
MSSQL$Serveradhelper
SQLAGENT$BKUPEXEC
SQLAGENT$SBSMONITORING
SQLSHAREPOINT

If I go to Add/Remove programs I can remove Veritas Backup, Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (SBS Monitoring & SBS Sharepoint).

If I delete these will this remove all instances of SQL & then how do I re-install. Will this affect SBS in any way? Anyone had any experience with this?
