Hello, I am currently having a problem with my sbs 2003.

I have 2 nics configured (one for wan and one for lan).

WAN Adapter - 192.168.1.2 (which connects to DSL modem/router doing NAT. Real world IP is assigned there)

LAN Adapter- 192.168.16.2, does DHCP for all internal workstations.

I ran the ICW and everything seems to work fine. Websites are accessible, all workstations connect to exchange and all are assigned IP's via DHCP. Life is good...

The problem starts when I run the Remote Access Wizard! For some reason after I configure this service, all workstations on my internal network lose connectivity to internet and exchange even though they are still being assigned IP addresses from DHCP server.

VPN connects fine... However the server assigning me an IP address is not my 192.168.16.2... but rather some server @ 192.168.16.38? Under the "adapters" section of RAS this IP is apparently attached to some "internal" adapter which I never specified in the wizard?!

Can anyone give me some hints as to what the problem might be and why all computers (including VPN clients) cannot access the internet when I run RAW?

Once I disable RAS and run the ICW again, all problems seem to be resolved and my network goes back to normal (all except for VPN access that is).

I thought computers were supposed to make life LESS complicated?

Thanks,
Joe Cap
