POP3 Connector crashes LDAP!!! |

I'm having the most weird problem with the POP3 connector and Exchange 2003/SP2. Either from Microsoft POP3 or with Native POP3 connector.
When I start the service, shortly after, the LDAP services become unavailable. That's the message I get from MSExchangeAL. Eventually the server becomes unusable. Directory services are gone and I can't even log on to the console as administrator. Some network services still run, like DNS or printer services!
Can anyone help me finding what's happening here?
