|
|
Hi,
I am looking to discuss ISA Server DHCP config Options. Not sure if this is a good group to pose questions of this type ?
I am havin problems with loosing the functionallity of my local TCP/IP Gateway after I establish a VPN sonnection to my work daomain via ISA server. My VPN connections specifies to use the default gateway....but I would have expected to havethat onlyeffect my VPN sesion.....but that is not the case.....once connected I cant access route resources in my own local domain....help ? |

i guess it would relly depend on the number of NICs in your machine.
if you only have one, the VPN connection will "use" that one card and you will recieve a "local" address through the VPN
if its not the case, and you have more than one NIC, you could use another cable to connect to your router.
PCI network cards are pretty cheap nowadays, so you could get one if you need one, but you probably aren't connected(through VPN) very long so you might consider comprimising.

| Well...the VPN comes in to my DMZ then through our ISA server wich although is on Windows 2000 the PDC is NT 4.0....so the incoming user is authenticated in the NT 4.0 domain....this all happens prior to the Remote desktop connection gettin the user up to my Windows 2000 domain....so the issue of nics I gues would be appropreate on the ISA server ? |
