OBJ_CLASS_VIOLATION in AdamSync |
|
|
Let's hope this forum is still alive... My previous posting 9 days ago is the last thing that happened in this forum. I hope it is not something I said.
With a lot of trial and error (and replacing Windows Server 2003 EE with the R2 RC1) a managed to import the AD schema into my ADAM instance. I ran an adamsync /prepare.
The actual synchronisation gives the following error (after successfull synchronisation of more than 600 objects):
| Code: | Processing Entry: Page 7, Frame 2, Entry 0, Count 0, USN 6982
Processing source entry <guid=0b8848f24bed674095315139a59b2277>
Processing in-scope entry 0b8848f24bed674095315139a59b2277.

Adding attributes: appSchemaVersion, description, displayName, extensionName, instanceType, objectClass, sourceobjectguid, showInAdvancedViewOnly, lastagedchange,
Ldap error occured. ldap_add_sW: Object Class Violation.

Saving Configuration File on DC=pc,DC=beheertools,DC=nl
Saved configuration file. |
As far as I can find this means that it tries to set an attribute that is not valid for the object.
How can I find out which attribute is causing the error? |

Well, the forum is alive, I just can't see any new postings after 14-11-2005, except the two I posted (and I see them with 0 replies). Contacted the administrator about it, waiting for a reply. |

May be due to the broad topics, this forum is not so active. Fortunately, we still have very helpful members hanging around, like SteveAbram, Viper62, lu_tung and others.
Hope to see you around more. |
