Hi all,

I have MCMS Enterprise set up with host header mapping and
ISAPI_Rewrite used to run the edit site for www.mysite.com under
https://edit.mysite.com/. Editing itself works fine but when using the
insert hyperlink dialogue, links are returned with https:// instead of
http://. I thought the SSL session was completely transparent to MCMS?
Any ideas as to how to resolve this? It also looks like the links are
no longer managed by MCMS if you manually correct them back to http://

Hi Chandy,

please double check with the standard MCMS placeholder control.
Might be a bug in Telerik control.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

That's what I'd been expecting but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Pages are being published with links to https:// on the public site.

Any ideas? I am using the telerik editor.

Hi Chandy,

actually there is no need to modify this.
The links are not stored with the protocol - only an internal GUID reference
is stored.
So when the site is accessed using http the links will be with http and not
with https.

Cheers,
Stefan
