Windows 2003 Server DHCP and Cisco WLAN Air AP issue |
|
|
Hi all,
i do have a two windows 2003 server with superscope function configured.
Each server is handling two subnets in the DHCP lease. I tried to implement a
Cisco Air 1030 WLAN Access point into the network. This AP is DHCP
configured. When the AP is powered on it receives a IP Address from the DHCP
server. The problem is that the address lease is not visible in the active
leases of the Windows 2003 DHCP server. For a test i connected the AP to an
old windows2000 lab server with DHCP and the lease is visibel in a second.
Does anyone have an idea what could cause such an behaviour on Windows 2003.
