1. I know that the correct way of assigning permissions to network resources
is to give the rights to a Domain Local group and then put a Global group
into the Domain Local group (A G DL P). However when I try this on a resource
on a member server the Domain Local groups don't appear (however they do
appear when I try to give rights to a resource on a Domain Controller. Any
ideas on this??
Is it to do with the Domain functional level (which is currently Windows
Server 2003 interim as I have 1 NT BDC still in the domain).

2. I now want to raise the forest/domain functional level to Windows 2003.
My 1 remaining NT BDC has been offline for a while and I now want to delete
it. Will removing this NT BDC and raising the forest/domain functional level
have any effect on the functioning of my Exchange 5.5 server?

Kind Regards
Dave
