Hi to all,
I have this big problem on my Client server:

The server is a Dell PowerEdge 2600 with Dell powervault 110T.
The server wose a Windows SBS 2000 with Veritas backup exec 8.6.
I have update to Windows SBS 2003 and uninstalling Veritas backup exec 8.6
(not 100% compatible with this OS).
The problem is that now, when lunch NTBACKUP for do a Backup on Tape the job
not start and on the screen is display this error:

The device reported an error on a request to MS_UpdateNtmsOmidInfo.
Error reported: 11.
There may be a hardware or media problem.
Please check the system event log for relevant failures.

The Firmware is the last and the Hardware is ok (verify with dell)

Hi,

I am also having the same problem. We migrated from NT 4.0 with BE 8.x to 2003 and experienced the same problem.

Any help would do.
