WSS 2.0 error EventID: 1000 |

I have the following error message in Win SBS 2003 Server Management,
Monitoring Server:
"#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on
<ServerName>\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and make
sure it's running."
I remember before I installed SQL Server 2000 (& it's Service Pack 3a), the
http://companyweb shows no sign of error, now after I've receive the error
message; whenever I open mycompany website, it shows error message too on the
right side.
There's configuration too in WSS management console (in HTTP) that pinpoint
to STS_Config for MS$SQLServer, but I've never order WSS to do/make such
settings.
What to do to fix this problem?
