I have a server that has been decommissioned but MOM is still reporting
errors (because the MOM server can not communicate with it). The server's
computer account has been deleted from the AD but it is still listed in "All
computers" in the MOM Admin console. I re-ran the computer discovery rules
hoping that would remove it but this has not worked. The server is also
showing pending actions in the admin console. I can cancel them but after a
while the pending action reappears for the decommissioned server.

How can I remove the decommisioned server from the MOM Server?

I have MOM 2005 with SP1 running on Win2003 Standard Gold.

Hello,

Thank you for your posting!

Please try to move it to unmanaged computers and then delete it.

If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.
