Experts,
Running Windows Server 2003 SP1, this is a single-server pointing to itself
for DNS and running Active Directory. The zone is standard primary with
Secure and Non-secure updates set to 'Yes'. In Active Directory Users and
Computers, if I expand domain.local > System > MicrosoftDNS, I do not see an
entry for domain.local. Is this because I am not running AD-integrated DNS?
ADUC is in Advanced View.

Your first zone should always be intergrated with AD, and Secure updates only. You have configured forwarders on this box right?
