Server 2003 backup problem |
|
|
I was using the Backup bundled with Server 2003 for my server, and I found
that the backup will receive an error says that theere was an hardware error
and can't be continued. I have checked that the report was something like "
error, D: is not a valid drive or you don't have access right on it". My
username has admin rights on the server, and I found that everytime when the
backup come across a file which size is bigger than around 1GB, it stopped
and reported error.
Any clue?
P.S. the file is an Outlook PST file that is not in use.
Many Thanks |

Believe it or not, I think you need to update your NIC drivers.

Try turning off AntiVirus when running your backup.
