Hello,

We did a domain rename, everything appears to work fine so far.
After 3 months I removed the old active directory zones for the old domain,
now netlogon failures exist.
When I do a netdiag /test:dns /fix it tries to fix the old dns zone in dns.

_ldap._tcp.olddomain
_ldap._tcp.Default-First-Site-Name._sites.olddomain
_ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.olddomain
_ldap._tcp.gc.olddomain
_ldap._tcp.Default-First-Site-Name._sites.gc._msdcs.olddomain
_ldap._tcp.a373d251-c2f8-4476-98f2-2094154beb67.domains._msdcs.olddomain
gc._msdcs.olddomain

any ideas?
Andrew

Check the netlogon.dns file under:
%systemroot%\system32\config\

If there are two, delete the old one. If there is only one, do a find and
replace on your old domain name with your new.
